Katie Moisan

Katie advises clients in the real estate and natural resources sectors, focusing on commercial property acquisitions and land development. She also advises on mineral title reviews, lease negotiations and other transactional services for oil, gas, and renewable energy projects.
Katie draws on her experience as both an in-house and private practice attorney to advise her clients and help them solve issues from multiple angles or understand and mitigate business risks involved in their projects.
Her real estate experience includes land entitlements and real estate development, including zoning, purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, commercial leases, and the drafting of covenants, easements, and construction documents.
Her years of experience as an oil and gas title attorney have given her a keen eye for detail that she brings to every client matter. She has worked on complex state, federal, and tribal titles involving water and land use issues. She has handled title examination, issued drilling and division order opinions, and assisted individuals with significant land and mineral assets.
Prior to joining Fairfield and Woods, Katie was an in-house attorney for an air-medical company that hangered out of airports, municipality land, and private hangars across the country. While there, she deepened her title and real estate experience handling leasing, permitting, engineering contracts, and construction contracts.
Amanda Jokerst

Amanda works with her clients to understand their goals and help them navigate complex litigation to reach an efficient resolution. She represents her clients in all phases of litigation in State and Federal court, from initial pleadings and discovery, to alternative dispute resolution and trial. Amanda always considers what is best for her client and looks at the whole matter through a lens of mitigating risk while advocating for a just outcome.
Prior to entering private practice, Amanda completed a judicial clerkship in the Fourth Judicial District of Minnesota. She draws on her background working on the judge’s side of the bench to take a well-rounded approach to each matter.
